Visitors List: LSU Enters Huge Weekend On Recruiting Trail

Tigers hosting several top prospects to campus this weekend including 5-star WR Cameron Coleman.

Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers enter their biggest recruitment weekend of the month with several high-priority targets arriving in Baton Rouge on Friday.

From 2024 quarterback commit Colin Hurley returning to campus once again this month to five-star wide receiver Cameron Coleman taking his official visit to Death Valley, it’s an important 72-hour stretch for this LSU football program.

Along with Coleman, the Tigers have 2024 defensive back target Cai Bates on campus as he nears a decision date.

Here’s a look into a few headliners LSU will have on campus this weekend:

Colin Hurley - 2024 Quarterback Commit

Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian Academy quarterback and four-star LSU commit Colin Hurley is back in Baton Rouge for a visit with Brian Kelly and the coaching staff.

Hurley made his way from Florida where he will take in the scenes this weekend after competing in the Elite 11 Finals last weekend in Los Angeles.

For the dynamic signal-caller to earn an invite for the event is another prestigious honor to add to Hurley’s list of accolades.

The headliner of Brian Kelly’s 2024 recruiting class, Hurley performed in Oxford (Miss.) last month where he earned top honors during the event.

Cam Coleman - 2024 Wide Receiver Target

LSU target Cameron Coleman has flown up the national recruiting rankings over the last few months after a productive junior campaign. The five-star wide receiver has become a household name as he prepares for a monster offseason ahead of his senior year.

Coleman will arrive in Baton Rouge on June 23 for a weekend stay to soak in Death Valley. It gives him the chance to get one-on-one time with Brian Kelly and LSU wide receivers coach Cortez Hankton as he begins locking in on a decision.

At 6-foot-3, 180 pounds, Coleman already attaints a sturdy frame as he heads into his senior season. With the physical traits and explosive playstyle every college program across the country is looking for, Coleman is your prototypical wideout at the next level.

Look for the Tigers to keep their foot on the gas for Coleman who has schools ranging from Clemson, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Alabama and others all in his ear hoping to get his services moving forward.

Caden Durham - 2024 Running Back Target

This is a big one. For LSU to get the dynamic running to Baton Rouge several times proves a significant level of interest by both parties. The 4-star Duncanville (Tex.) back is beginning to see his recruitment blow up recently with LSU getting in on the action. Durham is teammates with 5-star EDGE Colin Simmons out in Texas. Could the two be a package deal?

Durham, who just completed a junior campaign that ended with a state championship, is a high-priority target for LSU who thoroughly enjoyed his time in Death Valley last fall. Accompanied by a number of the top players in the South, Durham had nothing but positive things to say after the visit.

Another major factor is Durham’s success in track and field. A speedster who is beginning to pick up offers, LSU recently dished out a scholarship as the dual-sport athlete continues shining.
