With College Gameday in Baton Rouge for No. 5 LSU vs No. 7 Florida, much of the conversation was centered around the 2019 Tiger team.

Here were some of the highlights from the college football morning show.

Tom Rinaldi sits down with Joe Burrow

Kirk Herbstreit called Joe Burrow a first round pick Saturday, something Herbstreit said wasn't in the realm of possibility a season ago. Well, the crowd was certainly behind the well-known host for that prediction.

Saturday morning, ESPN aired an interview with the star LSU quarterback and reporter Tom Rinaldi, touching on a number of different topics.

Burrow comes from a long lineage of football players, with is father and brothers all playing for Nebraska. When Rinaldi asked if the Cornhuskers ever showed any interest in him?

"None, none," Burrow said.

The senior quarterback is also a big cartoon fan, as many fans have come to know through his colorful sweaters he's worn over the last year.

Some of his favorites include SpongeBob, Looney Tunes and Super Mario but which cartoon character does he relate to most?

"Squidward," Burrow said. "A lot of things anger him and I try not to be that way but that happens to me sometimes."

Burrow also talked about black holes and of course, football. When asked about the perception of the LSU offense, Burrow simply called it "Stone Age." The Tigers are now averaging over 54 points a game.

"Now we're explosive," Burrow said. "A year ago this week, I would've told you were crazy and then after the season and as we got to August I'd say that's all? We've got great coaches, a great scheme. The sky is the limit for us."

Orgeron joins the Gameday set

Ahead of the Tigers matchup tonight with Florida, the LSU head coach joined the Gameday set to fire up the crowd and talk his 2019 team. Orgeron confirmed Saturday that defensive ends Rashard Lawrence and Glen Logan would both play as will Michael Divinity.

Lawrence and Divinity were expected but it felt like a long shot that Logan would be ready but that doesn't seem to be the case.

The Gameday crew also asked about the potent LSU offense and what the biggest changes were.

"Getting the right coaches and getting the right quarterback," Orgeron said. "I think Joe Burrow is probably one of the best recruits in LSU history. He's changed the offense. The hiring of Joe Brady and the implementation of the spread offense with Steve Ensminger. They've changed what people think of LSU's offense."

"We have to score points in order to win a championship and that's really it," Orgeron continued. "I want to bring a championship to Louisiana and I knew we had to score more points."

Some of the LSU players were also asked about Orgeron's pregame speeches, including the chinstrap snapping right before the team heads to the field.

"You want to go out there and fight for that guy," Burrow said. "Anybody who says differently, there's something wrong with them."

"Everything he does is so energetic," receiver Justin Jefferson said. "It's so demanding"

"Before we go out, he has everybody put one chinstrap unhooked and then on one, two, three he makes everybody click at one time," Terrace Marshall added. "It gets you ready to go."

Gameday staff makes their picks for LSU-Florida

One of the highlights on every College Gameday weekend is for the hosts to make their picks, with Lee Corso finishing it off with the patented mascot head. Well, Corso picked up the Tiger head on Saturday, much to the delight of the LSU faithful in the Quad.

Here's how the rest of the crew went:
