Miami Commitment Visiting Nebraska
Which recruits end up signing and being part of the 2024 Miami Hurricanes recruiting class? It seems like every few hours there's something new to discuss.
According to Huskers Talk, Miami linebacker commitment Vincent Shavers is heading to Lincoln, Neb. for an official visit. Shavers is from Miami (Fla.) Central and his commitment date to Miami would be May 19, 2023.
Among the schools Miami originally beat out for Shavers would be the same Nebraska team, plus Florida State, Florida, UCF, Tennessee, and Ole Miss.
As for late Friday afternoon, Dec. 15, Miami has 28 verbal commitments ahead of National Signing Day. With Shavers heading to Big 10 country for an official visit that number could be heading down. Then again, the following overall Miami recruiting report has some good news to consider as well:
Miami's recruiting class is really good, but like with Shavers, each recruitment can be fluid. There's a chance that multiple flips take place for the Canes and against them as well. Only five more days until National Signing Day.
