Jon Teske is off to a great start in 2019 and Zavier Simpson had a lot to do with that in game No. 2.

Senior big man Jon Teske has known Zavier Simpson for a long time. The two both grew up in Ohio, arrived at U-M together and have developed into senior leaders for a team that needs it under new head coach Juwan Howard.

Teske played 32 minutes and scored 17 points against Creighton, and Simpson dropped 17 points of his own in just under 34 minutes of action. A lot of what Teske is able to do is because of Simpson and because of that, he was able to break down exactly what it is that makes his point guard so effective.
