Happy Birthday to the Greatest Nation on Earth!

After the attacks of 9-11 the Congress stood and sang that great Irving Berlin song:

God Bless America,
Land that I love.
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America, My home sweet home.

America is the greatest nation on earth. It has liberated millions and brought freedom to the four corners of the earth.

We are not perfect, but we need not apologize for who we are or what we represent. We are a great nation; the envy of the world. Our enemies hate what we represent. They are oppressors and we are supporters of freedom. They despise liberty and we love it. They think we are weak because Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin are a part of our political process. They think that lady liberty in New York Harbor is a terrible thing, for how could a woman represent a nation.

They see acts of cowardice against civilians as noble yet our sending of food, grown on the farms of our heartland as ignorant.

Today they hide in caves running like dogs from our Marines, our Army, our Navy and Air Force. They slip from camel to rock trying to avoid the unmanned predator drones that anxiously look for them to kill them.

They see America as weak. They see us as evil. We know better. So Osama and all of your evil, twisted and wicked followers, we salute our heroes and their families that are at home awaiting their return.

We raise a hotdog or a hamburger and we fly the flag proud. Know that our soldiers volunteered. They were not promised a mass amount of virgins and pie in the sky fairy tales to give their lives. They walked into a recruiter and volunteered. They volunteered to protect this land with no false promises or lies.

You are cowards and our heroes are patriots. Just like our heroes of generations past have stopped the evil ones, so we shall you. Today we celebrate this nation. Today we thank our forefathers that had the foresight to make this land.

Today we salute the people around the world who are not Americans but hunger for this freedom we have and we bid them good will in their journey to bring it to their homeland.

Today we thank our veterans current and past. Today we thank their families. Today, we pursue our enemies who hide in civilian clothes like cowards among the women and children of Afghanistan rather than fight them in the open.

Our enemies do not understand. They are cowards. Our heroes wear the U.S. Flag with pride. Whether they are in Afghanistan or Iraq, or anywhere in the world, they will be in uniforms. You can identify them with the American flag. You know that our bombs that rain down on you are ours for they have our flag and the name of our nation.

You hide. You plan in secret. We use our military might to win and our resolve in the fact that we are right to remain strong. You hide like cowardly schoolgirls in your mosques, so if we bomb them you can call us the cowards. You hide like whipped puppies among women and children because you know we won’t attack those women and children like you did on 9-11 because you have no morals and are Godless pigs.

Thanks to our heroes, their families and our families live in freedom. While yours live in huts, caves and bombed out mountains and neighborhoods that are bomb ridden and dilapidated.

In America we celebrate that a Muslim can pray free in Detroit, and a Jew in Brooklyn. A Baptist can drop his head in prayer in Dallas and a Catholic can kneel and proclaim the Our Father in Seattle and the atheist can think all are wasting their time. We don’t hate those people. We don’t think they are wicked or evil. We are intelligent enough to understand our diversity is our strength, while you see diversity as evil because you are ignorant fools who are blinded by your own foolish stupidity.

Thank you veterans. Thank you heroes. Thank you to your families and thanks be to God for the greatest nation on earth. God bless our heroes and their families and God Bless America.

Today from border to border and coast to coast America will watch fireworks, a sign of the freedom we have. Fireworks will reign down on you also. Ours will be displayed for freedom’s sake and yours because we are chasing you. We are coming after you. We didn’t ask for this war. You brought it to us. Our heroes are coming. They are on your trail. Just like they have every time our nation has called.

We love our soldiers. We are blessed to have their families. We celebrate this nation today and in that celebration we thank the men and women of the US Military and thank them for our freedom.

Shoot straight and fight on heroes. We can’t wait to have you home. For those who have fought before, for those that have died, we salute you. The red on the flag is symbolic of your blood and sacrifice.

Freedom isn’t free. It has a huge cost. We do not forget. In our country there are many who will disagree with this article. We celebrate that we can express our feelings. In your way of thinking, if a man didn’t agree you would call him a Godless infidel and murder him. You don’t respect life. Not even your own. In our nation the right to voice an opinion and disagree with it are sacred.

Happy Birthday America! You aren’t perfect, but your people and the freedoms they hold dear make you the greatest nation on earth. Thanks to every current and former veteran and all of their families. God Bless America.

There are many Americans who think these current battles are noble and many that think they are not. What makes our nation proud is that we don’t find disagreement as evil. I wouldn’t want to live in a nation that couldn’t debate its policies or ideals. Freedom is an expensive gift, given to us by heroes and patriots. Happy Birthday America. God Bless America.
