Happy Birthday, America!

Today the world celebrates the birth of the greatest nation in its history. Some skeptics would tell us that it isn’t a day that is celebrated. Surely, we are all smart enough to acknowledge that there are those governments and people that do hate us. With that said, the people of the world crave the life we have.

America has many faults. America has many issues. That said, at the end of the day She still stands as a beacon of light and democracy to the world. In a few months a referendum on the direction of this nation will be taken and not a shot will be fired. No blood will run in the streets. Only votes will be cast.

Our money declares: God Bless America. I would take it farther today and simply say a prayer that asks God to: Please Continue to Bless America.

With all of this nation’s issues we still are a blessed and free land. For those issues God promises us that if we will pray for our nation He can and will heal our land. Regardless of your leanings, I ask all Americans to say a prayer for our troops, say thank you to the veterans and their families, and ask God to heal our land.

Happy Birthday, America. We sure aren’t perfect, but we are the best. To all of the soldiers and their families that are serving or have served: Thanks for allowing us to have the life that we do.
