Hello folks!
Thanks again for taking the time to read Spartan Nation.

• There is no Hondo’s House on Friday. ABC 53 has Big Ten tournament coverage. We will however have a special edition on Wednesday at 7:30. We will be talking MSU basketball and hockey leading up to the Big Ten tournament and the CCHA playoffs. My special guest will be Todd Schulz from the Lansing State Journal.
• According to the St. Paul Pioneer Dispatch the University of Idaho, which is Dan Monson's alma mater and where his father, Don, coached, will pursue the Gophers men's basketball coach after the season. 2 sources very close to the situation confirmed this to me also.
• Timberwolves fans are all over Kevin McHale to resign. Who knows if he will, but if he doesn’t he should get canned. He has been nothing short of pathetic!
• I talked with an Eagles source today that says they will try to sign Jeff Garcia quickly as a back up! My thoughts? Good riddance!
• The Dolphins have put all of their focus off of Daunte and are totally focused on Drew Brees when and if it ever gets to sign free agents. Drew has expressed interest to people about that job. Look for the dismally run Chargers to once again ruin it for their fans and franchise by making yet another asinine personnel decision.
• Isaac Bruce, the Rams WR and certain future Hall of Famer, was released strictly for salary cap reasons yesterday. I talked with 2 Lions sources yesterday and there is for sure interest in him by the Lions.
• Barry Bonds is guilty of the steroid abuse he has so adamantly denied according to Game of Shadows, a book written by two San Francisco Chronicle reporters at the forefront of reporting on the BALCO steroid distribution scandal.
• Jon Kitna will look good when he signs with the Lions! That will be his call but they want him.
• It is only 7 months until the MSU vs. UM football game!
