Hello folks!

Thanks again for taking the time to read Spartan Nation.

·Don’t forget to join me each weeknight for Mid-Michigan’s most sports at 6:15 p.m. Monday thru Friday on ABC 53.

·I am really excited. Friday my special guest on Hondo’s House is MSU head hockey coach Rick Comley.

·Many people think that Vernon Davis the stud TE from Maryland could be the best TE prospect ever coming out in the draft. I had an NFL scout tell me today: “I can’t believe how good this young man is, in my opinion with all my years, he will be a hall of famer.” He is fast moving up draft boards so keep an eye on him.

·Look for the Vikings to give up their late (also their 2nd) first round pick to the Falcons for Schaub as I told you last week.

·The great LB LaVar Arrington is back in New York today. The Giants would love to add him to their defense but he is asking for a lot of money and there are a lot of exchanges going on as we speak between the two.

·The old greased q-tip himself, Pat Riley better make a big splash in the NBA playoff pool. People around the league have already lost respect for him by the way he through the old coach his buddy, Stan Van Gundy under the bus. So now he has to fix it to repair his reputation.

·The first three games in the playoff for the Pistons are 4/23 and 4/26 both at the Palace, and 4/29 in Milwaukee. I will be at all three bringing you the coverage.

·The Stanley Cup playoffs begin on Friday at the Joe for the Wings, we will be there with all the info for you.

·As spring ball comes to an end, there is a lot of scuttlebutt floating around. On Monday’s Hondo’s House at 7:30 p.m. my guest will be the Pope, Jim Comparoni and he and I will break it all down for you.

·The Rampage’s season is tanking. I am a huge AFL fan but this franchise is floundering. The desperately need some direction. I like this franchise and wish it nothing but the best; I sure hope the fix the ship.

·The Tigers play this afternoon; it would be great to get a sweep in Oakland.

·It is only 5 months and 17 days until the MSU vs. UM football game!

See you Friday on Hondo’s House at 7:30 if you’re in the Mid Michigan market.

Thanks everyone, hug your loved ones and remind them that you love them! Peace! -H
