Hello folks!
Thanks again for taking the time to read Spartan Nation. Hondo's Highlights will be at both the Tigers and Pistons tonight, so watch on Thursday to see it all!
·       Don’t forget to join me each weeknight for Mid-Michigan’s most sports at 6:15 p.m. Monday thru Friday on ABC 53.
·       On Hondo’s House Friday, I am talking Lions football and some baseball!
·       Ty Law will sign with the Seahawks, mark it down you read it here first.
·       A Dolphin source told me that if Marcus Vick makes this team it will be on his ability to make punt returns. This should be fun. When I asked him about the chance that he get to QB he said with a huge laugh: “Nick wouldn’t think og making him a leader on this team.â€
·       Yesterday after the first practice, Bill Cowher had a long talk with his team about the commitment it will take to win again. I had a Steeler tell me: “I have heard him give lot’s of talks, but that was the most impassioned I have ever seen.â€Â
·       I talked with a friend who works with the Astros and he told me that the team is forseeing an answer from Roger Clemens no latter then mid June. He also said that they are anticipating him staying in Houston.
·       Big Ben Wallace has hired an agent, to try to negotiate his next deal. That is not a good sign for the Pistons. Why would you pay and agent 5-8% for negotiating a max deal with the Pistons, something that is already on the table? I have told you that some of the antics of his team mates are getting old with Ben, I hope he resigns but if any of you think it is a given, your wrong.
·       It is only 4 months and 21 days until the MSU vs. UM football game!
