Hello folks!
Thanks again for taking the time to read Spartan Nation.
·Don’t forget to join me each weeknight for Mid-Michigan’s most sports at 6:15 p.m. Monday thru Friday on ABC 53.
·On Hondo’s House Friday night, I am talking Pistons basketball with my buddy Tony Brown from TV20 in Detroit, the Pistons station. Stay tuned!
·Is Stevie Y done? It seems very evident that he is and that makes me sad. I realize that Gretzky is the great one, but in my mind, he is the greatest one.
·In the ACC Big Ten Challenge it was announced yesterday that Michigan State at Boston College would be the Spartan Nations draw.
·With Manny Legace basically out the door, should Daytsuk see the door also? That makes you want to ask what about Shanny? He could have stepped up and didn’t? One thing is really evident, and that is they need a big money star goalie.
·Am I the only one that would give his left…well you get the hint to see Ryan Miller in the winged wheel?
·The Governator: Ahnold (I realize that it is spelled wrong, that is how he says it) says he wants two NFL teams in LA. Well Mr. Governor I want two-dozen Krispy Kreme donuts for breakfast and I want them delivered. Please. You can’t even take care of one team. You can't even sell out all the UCLA or USC games and you want two?
·O.K. the Suns won, but can they beat the Lakers again? I don’t think so and that means an all silicone series!
·How about them Tigers? They are playing real strong. They are 18-9 after last night’s game and playing really strong. Love the small ball.
·A lot of you contacted me and told me that you are glad the Lions didn’t pick Leinart. What shocks me is that by far 2:1 most of you wanted Cutler.
·I have the privilege that the average fan does not but I really like Placido Polanco. He is a fine guy and he sure is fun to watch play.
·Nate Robertson is pitching tonight as the Tigers face the Angels. This is a big two game series and I am really excited about it. All I am looking for is a split, and that would make me really happy.
·Titans CB Pac Man Jones is not attending mini-camps and has decided that he is not interested in the entire circus that surrounds him with his off the field issues.
·It is only 5 months and 4 days until the MSU vs. UM football game!
