Hondo: First of all, Dominic, it’s good to talk to you for the first time this off-season talk about how you’re feeling the offensive line is gelling pretty well.

Â
Dominic: Feel good, another year, another new start. Don’t want to talk too much about it, I want to go out and just do it. I’ve been here six years and that’s we’ve been talking about is how we are going better and better. We just want to go out and show it. All the predictions and guessing what we are going to do, that’s not for us this year. I think we’re going to just go out and show it.

Â
Hondo: You and I have talked about that a lot. Last year you said after the St. Louis game that you were tired of this and that you should be better. You have to be impressed with the mindset of teammates, that it is different this year.

Â
Dominic: No question and that starts up top with what they did this off-season. The off-season moves and the kind of people that we’re surrounding the vets with and bringing more vets in and just bringing good people in this year. That’s where I think it starts.

Â
Hondo: Peterman on one side and Mulitallo on the other, that’s really key for you having those guards next to you.

Â
Dominic: Our two big men that can move. Two big athletic men so I like having them next to me. It’s going to be fun in camp. It’ll be a fun camp for us to improve on gelling together.Â

Â
Hondo: I got to ask you because everyone emails in about those shorts. Is that a Hawaii thing or are you just trying to bring sexy back.

Â
Dominic: No, I like to say but really it’s for if I wear those baggy shorts it gets caught in the quarterback’s hands and I don’t want to have a fumbled snap because of the equipment I’m wearing. So I just like to eliminate all the bagginess and you got to admit it is sexy.

We apologize to the great Lions fans that can’t watch this as a video which would be much better for the fans. The new recent stupid NFL rules prohibit that. So even though you can’t see it anywhere else since Hondo was the only reporter to do it, here is at least the transcript. Thanks Goodell.
