Kyle Tucker takes a shot as a guest author to predict the Big Ten

1. Ohio State 11-1

(With an easy schedule early our new offense should get off the training wheels before the big teams on the schedule arrive. Defense will be worlds better than last year with players coming up that should have played last season. We lose a heartbreaker to Illinois before taking out frustration on Michigan the next week)
2. Wisconsin 11-1

(Similar team as last season, but will lose to Ohio State in Columbus. PJ Hill will be good as advertised, but Wisconsin fans will learn just how much John Stocco meant to their team)
3. Michigan 10-2

(Defense will be good, offense will be solid but not as good as advertised. Their offense will struggle against Ohio State and Wisconsin and both will end in loses. Lloyd will leave the big ten with two L's and an unapreciative fanbase in Ann Arbor)
4. Iowa 8-4

(Defensive line will be solid and missing Michigan and Ohio State doesn't hurt either. Team will lose every big game they play in, but will get 4th because of schedule.
5. Purdue 8-4

(This team will have a great offense with Curtis Painter an experienced and seasoned veteran of the big ten. However it won't be enough)
6. Michigan State 7-5

(Yep thats right over .500 and a bowl. Many think MSU will be in the big ten basement, but those people underestimate Dantonio. The team will look ugly early but bounce back after a rough patch to shock Penn State in East Lansing.
7. Penn State 7-5

(This team will be the opposite of Iowa playing all of the tough Big Ten opponents and unfortunatly will drop each game by a small margin. The defense will be solid, but the running game will struggle without Tony Hunt and more pressure will be delegated to Anthony Morelli something he will struggle with early)Â
8. Illinois 6-6 (Illinois will be an unpredictable team this season, sometimes showing the form of a big ten champ and sometimes looking like the Illinois of the old. Juice Williams and his new receiver Arnelious Benn will make many headaches for defensive coordinators)
9. Indiana 6-6 (Indiana will experience a heartbreak similar to Northwestern of a year ago. They will pull through and have a few emotional wins for morale)
10. Minnesota 5-7 (Why did we fire Glen Mason? Thats what AD Joel Maturi and Golden Gopher fans will be saying all season and the rest of the big ten will be laughing.
11. Northwestern 4-8 (Not much to say about Northwestern just that it was unfortunate what happened to them last season and hopefully they can make Coach Walker proud)
