4. As good as Cadillac is, I think Kevin Jones in the superior athlete.
5. The Lions offensive line, read Backus and Woody need to step up.
6. I have watched film on the Lions to the point that I am sick of film, and I don’t see Kelly Butler as the issue or Dominic Raiola. Woody and Backus are nothing but a disappointment.
7. Roy Williams has got to get out of his sophomore funk for this team to be able to accomplish #3.
8. Charlie Rogers has to get his fear of injury out of his head. He has to quit playing not to get hurt and back to his attack style that made him the Lions high pick.
9. Mike Williams is actively pushing Charles for his starting job, and Charles isn’t helping himself in that fight.
10. The last 2 weeks of practice for the Lions have been great. It is critical that they be able to translate that to the field in game situations.
11. The Lions need at least a +2 in the turnover arena today to win.
12. Can the Lions front 7 be the dominators that we all think they are? I think they will.
13. For the Lions to win this game, Hanson has to play and play well.
14. With all the talk against Joey, it is time for the much loved WR corp to step up and play.
15. The Lions can’t abandon the run when it gets stopped. I stand by my previous comments that they must use the pass to set up the run.
16. If this team does not win at least 9 games, it is time to replace Mooch. His conservative play calling is pathetic. Let me make you aware of one thing. I am at practice and in the locker room, and these players are sick of his play calling.
17. On the final drive, the Lions offensive coaches, (read Mooch) remembered all of the talent at WR and used it. Luckily for them the defense had played good enough to almost win but it was to little to late.
18. If the Lions fail to win at least 9 games, Mooch should and from what I am hearing will be gone.
