MHSAA Basketball Report - January 30th, 2015

Here we go again! It’s time for another MHSAA Basketball Report from Spartan Nation’s prep writer, Jeffrey Cottrell. Let’s get right into the games for the past two weeks.

Cottrell’s BLOWOUT of the Week

Beal City 89 Marion 15 (74 points) (1-20-15)

Leading the charge for Beal City was Cody Hauck with 19 points.�� Tucker Gross chipped in 18. Jake Flaugher scored 12 while Chase Rollin finished with 11 points. No totals for Marion could be found.

Low Score of the Week

Iron Mountain 33 Negaunee 17 (50 points) (1-27-15)

Rochester Hills Christian 27 Troy Bethany Christian 23 (50 points) (1-20-15)

Both of these teams tied for low score of the week. Hope the defenses were stifling.

High Score of the Week

Britton Deerfield 111 Grass Lake 81 (192 points) (1-20-15)

Dallas Dusseau and Mat Muller scored 23 points apiece. Both had four rebounds. Dallas had six steals to Matt’s five. Matt had seven assists to Dallas’ five. Not a bad combo with those two guys. Hayden Ross scored 14 and grabbed 11 boards.  No stats could be found for Grass Lake.
