Hondo: You’ve had three offensive line coaches in the last three years.
Has that had any effect on you? Has that changed the way you play at all?Â
How do you feel about that?
Dominic: Actually, it’s been more positive than anything. I think just
taking something from each guy really helps my game, I think, and I think
you can look at it as a positive. I don’t think it has to be such a
negative.
Â
Hondo: Talk about your impression of TJ Duckett for a minute. I look out
here and everyone is getting out of his way and he’s just a big bruiser.
What do you think about it so far?
Dominic: Big Back. I think he’s gonna help us a lot. You know, he’s
a…I mean, look at him. He’s got his shirt up with his abs popping out
and he’s 260. Man he could look…it would be a good change for ‘em but
you know at the same time, he does run with speed.
Â
Hondo: I know these 11-on-11 scrimmages are suppose to be non-contact, but I
saw you get out there on the screen pass and almost lay someone out. What
happened out there?
Dominic: No, I tried to run in front of him and he was just running across
and we got crossed up. With your teammates you don’t try to do anything
like that, but when you see another color jersey you dream about those kinds
of situations.
Â
Hondo: Talk about the changes in this team from the last game you played
last year. How far do you think the team has come from the game in Dallas to
right now?
Dominic: I think with the personnel changes, this team has gotten closer
together, and I think that was a big win for us and a big confidence booster
just because, just because we did beat a playoff team.

We apologize to the great Lions fans that can’t watch this as a video which would be much better for the fans. The new recent stupid NFL rules prohibit that. So even though you can’t see it anywhere else since Hondo was the only reporter to do it, here is at least the transcript. Thanks Goodell.
