Adrian Peterson and his fumble issues are so critical in Minnesota. If he fixes it, they can make the Super Bowl. A Vikings player told me, “He has spent the off season focused on that. He all good.” He needs to look at what Tiki Barber did to fix his issues.

 

Former Spartan and current Bengal C Kyle Cook is fast emerging among the NFL as one of the best young centers in the game. Cook is a gamer with a big work ethic.

 

Terrell Owens is talking again. He wants yet another try at playing with Donovan McNabb. Around the league many are wondering if the Skins will get suckered in. “You can’t fall in love with the workout and the skills. If you do that, you will fall in love with Owens. This is about chemistry and team. I don’t see the Skins trying this. They have way too much to lose. If they do, Skins’ fans have to lose the optimism they have gained all off season,” according to an NFL assistant very familiar with things in D.C.

I just got off the phone with an NFL team personnel man that originally told me about Albert Haynesworth potential to the Vikings. As Haynesworth continues to be a thorn in the flesh with his Skins at some point you know the Skins are going to deal him. With the Vikings feeling confident the Williams combo will be back, they are waiting for the Skins to lower their cost of doing business for the disgruntled DT.
