Gophers' Braeden Carrington out against Penn State

Guard reportedly dealing with concussion-like symptoms.

Sophomore guard Braeden Carrington is out for the Gophers men’s basketball team’s home game against Penn State Saturday, according to the Big Ten availability report.

Carrington is out due to concussion-like symptoms, according to the Star Tribune’s Marcus Fuller. It's the fourth game Carrington will miss this season.

Carrington is an excellent perimeter defender, and his absence will be felt against a Penn State team led by a strong backcourt, including leading scorer Ace Baldwin Jr., who averages 14.1 points per game.

Carrington averages 5.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.
