National Signing Day: Here's the list of new Gophers football players

It's early National Signing Day and recruits are putting pen to paper to confirm intentions of studying at the University of Minnesota while playing football under head coach P.J. Fleck.
It's been a successful signing day for Minnesota simply with the fact that top 2024 Minnesota recruit Koi Perich, a standout safety from Esko High School in northern Minnesota, has signed with the Gophers. The 4-star recruit is ranked 85th nationally by 247Sports at 53rd overall by recruiting service On3.

According to 247Sports' composite rankings, Perich is the No. 1 player in Minnesota, Roy is the No. 2 player in Wisconsin and Sunram is the No. 1 recruit out of North Dakota.

Overall, Minnesota's recruiting Class of 2024 ranks 37th nationally, per 247Sports. Big Ten teams ranked ahead of the Gophers include Ohio State (3), Penn State (15), USC (19), Michigan (20), Nebraska (22), Wisconsin (27), Washington (31) and Purdue (36).
