The 10th-ranked Gophers men’s hockey team got goals from six different skaters as it completed a sweep of Ohio State with a 6-3 victory Saturday night in Minneapolis.
The win was the Gophers’ fifth straight.

Joe Dunlap, Jake Dunlap and Caden Brown scored goals for Ohio State.
“I like us the last three weeks and I liked us all weekend,” Gophers coach Bob Motzko said in a statement. “It was a little squirrely there at the end at 5-1, but they push out and we made a couple mistakes. Overall, I couldn’t be more pleased with our effort throughout our entire lineup.”
Justen Close stopped 24 of 27 shots in net for the U.
The Gophers return to action next weekend for a series against Big Ten-leading Michigan State in East Lansing, Mich.
