The Gophers soccer team announced the addition of transfer forward Katie Krohn for the 2024 season on Thursday.

Krohn spent the last two seasons at Buffalo, earning MAC All-Freshman Team honors in 2022. This season was even better as she tallied 30 points, scored 13 goals and had four assists.

“I chose the University of Minnesota because of the community and camaraderie within the team and all of athletics,” Krohn said in a statement.

Krohn’s efforts this season garnered her a MAC All-First Team selection and she also earned United Soccer Coaches All-Region Midwest Second Team honors in 2023. Krohn’s 13 goals this season — tied for a league best — were tied for third all-time in Buffalo program history.
