How to Watch: Missouri Women's Basketball in SEC Tournament

The Missouri Tigers women's basketball team will take on the Florida Gators on Wednesday in the first round of the SEC tournament in Greenville, South Carolina

The bracket is set for the 2024 SEC Women's Basketball Tournament. The regular season SEC Champions South Carolina Gamecocks will be looking to win their third straight SEC Tournament. 

After finishing last in the conference, Missouri will not receive a first round bye. In order to make the NCAA tournament, the Tigers would need to win five games in a row to win the SEC Tournament and secure the automatic bid. The most games the Tigers have won in a row this season has been three. 

After losing to Mississippi State on Sunday, Missouri dropped their eleventh straight game. The Tigers will be looking for their first win since January 18. 

Who: Missouri Tigers (11-18, 2-14 SEC) vs Florida Gators (14-14, 5-11 SEC)

Where: Bon Secours Wellness Arena; Greenville, South Carolina 

When: Wednesday, 25 minutes after the end of Game 1, which will begin at 11:00 am CT

Last Meeting: 

The Tigers and Gamecocks met less than a month ago, with Florida winning 86-70 in the Swamp. Florida got out to a huge lead, up as much as 36-16 in the first quarter. In the first half, Florida forced eight turnovers they converted into 20 points. Missouri trailed by 28 at halftime, but did put together a comeback attempt. Freshman Abbey Schreacke led the Tigers with a career best 16 points.

Missouri holds a 11-4 lead in the all-time meetings between the two programs.
