There are currently 22 NC State alums playing baseball professionally. Read below to see how NC State's baseball alumni are faring in the pros.

NC State currently has three players on Major League rosters (alphabetical order).

Andrew Knizner: St. Louis Cardinals: .218 average, HR, 19 RBI

Knizner is batting .318 in his last seven games and had a two-hit game at Colorado on August 9th. St. Louis is in first place in the National League Central.

Carlos Rodón: San Francisco Giants: 11-6 2.95 ERA, 134.1 IP, 168 K, 23 games (23 starts)

In his last outing, Rodón picked up his 11th win of the campaign with a seven-strikeout effort against Pittsburgh. The lefty now has leverage over his two-year deal that he signed with the Giants in the offseason and can opt out after the regular season ends.

Trea Turner: Los Angeles Dodgers: .307 average, 18 HR, 83 RBI, 20 SB

Turner is creating separation among shortstops in baseball with his play over the last 30 games. The former Wolfpacker is batting .325 with seven homers and 24 runs batted in, along with four stolen bases during that span. The Dodgers have blown the National League West wide open, and enjoy a 16.5-game lead (entering Monday's action). Turner, who was a member of the 2019 Washington Nationals team that won the World Series, will get another shot at a ring in October.

NC State currently has 19 players on Minor League rosters.
