Nebraska Baseball Takes Weekend Series Over South Alabama

Huskers improve to 9-4 with Sunday's 12-7 comeback win

Another series win for Nebraska baseball.

The Huskers (9-4) erased a four-run deficit to beat South Alabama (11-5) 12-7 Sunday afternoon. NU took the weekend series 2-1.

Rhett Stokes continued his hot weekend with yet another 3-for-4 outing at the plate, driving in two runs. Six Huskers posted a multi-hit day.

Mason McConnaughey earned the win for his 3.0 innings in relief, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out seven.

Nebraska heads on the road for games Tuesday and Wednesday at  Wichita State.
