Huskers snap eight-game losing streak to the Wolverines

A no-doubter for Nebraska men's basketball Saturday at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

The Huskers (17-8, 7-7 Big Ten) dominated Michigan (8-16, 3-10 Big Ten) 79-59. The win snapped an eight-game losing streak to the Wolverines.

About five minutes into the game, NU tore off on a 13-0 run. The lead stretched to as much as 30 before Big Red came back down to earth and was able to coast to a solid conference victory.

Nebraska shot 46.9% for the game, including 9-of-23 from 3. NU added 10-of-16 free throws. Michigan managed just 32.3% shooting, going 8-of-24 from deep and 11-of-15 at the stripe.

Four Huskers scored in double figures, led by 19 points from Keisei Tominaga. Josiah Allick pitched in 16 points to go with a team-high eight rebounds.

Nebraska gets a week off before hosting Penn State on Feb. 17.
