The Big Ten Conference announced postseason softball awards Wednesday morning, with several Huskers being honored.

Freshman Katelyn Caneda led the way with first team All-Big Ten, All-Defensive team, and All-Freshman team honors. Caneda was the only player in the conference to earn a spot on all three teams.

Billie Andrews and Brooke Andrews were also named first team All-Big Ten. This is Billie's third straight all-conference honor while Brooke earned her first.

The Andrews sisters are the third set of sisters in the Big Ten to receive first team All-Big Ten honors in the same year and the second from Nebraska. Tatum and Taylor Edwards were both named all-conference first team in 2013 and 2014, and Michigan's Kari and Karla Kunnen both earned first team honors in 1993.

Mya Felder earned a place on the All-Defensive team for the second consecutive year. Abbey Newlun was announced as the Huskers' Big Ten Sportsmanship recipient.

Nebraska begins Big Ten Conference Tournament play Thursday against the winner of Wisconsin and host Illinois.
