The dream of a perfect season is gone.

No. 5 Wisconsin swept No. 1 Nebraska Friday afternoon: 25-22, 28-26, 25-16. The Huskers suffered their first loss of the season, dropping to 27-1.

Nebraska held leads late in both the first and second sets but could not hold on down the stretch. In the third, a 7-7 tie saw Wisconsin go off on a 6-2 run to pull away and take the match.

Wisconsin dominated with its offense, hitting .357. Nebraska managed .243, led by Harper Murray's 15 kills.

Nebraska, which has already clinched the Big Ten title, closes the regular season Saturday at Minnesota.
