A true playmaker on the defensive side of the ball is going to make a commitment in one week. Anto Saka of Towson, MD is a four-start edge player who looks like a future superstar in the making and could be a huge boost to any schools 2022 recruiting class.

Saka possesses a 6'2", 230-pound frame and has athleticism to go along with his natural strength. He clocked in at a 11.50 second 100-meter dash and achieved a 41-4 shot put throw as well. He ran track and field in addition to his football career in high school and used every bit of cross training to his strength.

In these two clips, Saka displays countless attributes but two stand out very clearly. He has blazing speed that leaves opposing players with little-to-no time before they are deposited onto the turf, and he has an ability to catch up to a downfield play that limits damage on these plays. He had no business making the tackle on the first clip, but uses his athleticism to not only catch up to the opposing player but also turn a play with huge potential into just an average to solid gain. This gives the defense more opportunities to make a stop, and this can result in the ensuing sack that is shown in the second play.

Saka's athleticism is truly shown in the below video, where the viewer is treated to his straight ahead speed, lateral quickness and even some elements of play recognition.

Saka announced his top-three and his commitment date in the below video and truly has intriguing options. Two of the three options have hime Big-10 bound with Penn State and Northwestern, while his other option sends him to the west coast with USC. From the details he places for each school in the video, it appears that he has put plenty of thought into all three.
