Ohio State Target Bronny James Commits to USC

Ohio State Buckeyes recruiting target Bronny James has finally announced where he'll be playing college ball.

At long last, Bronny James has finally made his college decision. But the Ohio State Buckeyes are coming out on the short end.

Bronny, the son of NBA legend LeBron James, announced on social media Saturday that he's committing to the USC Trojans.

The Buckeyes, Oregon Ducks and Trojans had all been waiting patiently, as these three schools were on James' final list for quite some time. But other than knowing what his final three choices were, James' commitment process was generally crowded in mystery before Saturday's news broke.

James is coming off an impressive performance at the McDonald's All-American Game, as he proved to both NBA and college scouts that's worth the hype and then some. The pressure hardly seemed to faze him despite all the attention, as James finished with 15 points on 5 of 8 shooting from deep in the prestigious game.

Safe to say that Bronny is a vastly different player than his Hall of Fame father, but still showed NBA and college scouts that he's the real deal at the event alongside top talent in the class of 2023.

Buckeyes Nation will have to wonder what life could've been like with what would've been arguably the top commitment in program history.
