Seven Buckeyes Will Take the Field for NFL Conference Championships

Plenty of ex-Ohio State players are still in the hunt for a Super Bowl, including defensive duo Nick Bosa and Chase Young, tackle Taylor Decker and linebacker Malik Harrison.

The Ohio State Buckeyes might not be playing a game this weekend, but several former players will take the field on Sunday.

Seven ex-Buckeyes currently hold roster spots on the four teams playing in the NFL's AFC and NFC Conference Championships. Should their team win, these Ohio State football alumni will punch their ticket to Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday, February 11.

Here is the full list of whom the Ohio State football alumni play for, and how to watch their respective games:

AFC Championship: Kansas City Chiefs @ Baltimore Ravens - Sunday, January 28 (3 p.m. on CBS)

Ravens

No. 24 - Malik Harrison, LB

Detroit is the team with the most active former Buckeyes, as well as on their roster altogether. Baltimore and San Francisco each have two ex-Ohio State stars in their camps, but Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins will not see the field on Sunday due to an injury earlier in the year.

Ohio State will not be the only college from the Buckeye State to be represented this weekend. San Francisco cornerback Samuel Womack III (Toledo) will battle against the Lions, while Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce (Cincinnati) and injured safety Bryan Cook (Cincinnati) are taking on the Ravens.

In addition, a staggering 51 players from the four teams played their college ball at one of the 18 current Big Ten schools. The 49ers have the most of these players with 16, followed by the Ravens (14), Lions (13) and Chiefs (8).
