Ohio State Buckeyes Remain No. 1 in Latest College Football Playoff Rankings
The Ohio State Buckeyes remain at the top of college football, earning the College Football Playoff (CFP)'s No. 1 ranking for the second-straight week.
The Buckeyes won their most-recent game on Saturday, November 4 to improve their still-undefeated record to a perfect 9-0 heading into this weekend.
Speaking of continuing trends, Ohio State was kept at No. 3 in the Associated Press' list, which was announced on Sunday. This is the same spot the Buckeyes found themselves in before the CFP's initial rankings were revealed last Tuesday evening.

The main reason the Buckeyes continue to be the nation's top-ranked team is their resume, which boasts two victories against top-ten teams with one more left to go (November 25 against the No. 3 Michigan Wolverines). Ohio State defeated the then-No. 9 Notre Dame Fighting Irish 17-14 on September 23, and defended their home turf against the then-No. 7 Penn State Nittany Lions on October 21 by a final score of 20-12.
