The Ohio State Buckeyes have one of the most storied programs in college football history. The regular season success that the team has experienced under coach Ryan Day would make almost any other team jealous.

That said, the last two seasons have been considered disappointments due to the lack of postseason accomplishments. But there's one way to put all that to bed, and it's to win big in 2023.

Expectations for the upcoming Buckeyes season are high both inside the program and around the country, as evidenced by the fact that Caesars Sportsbook recently released win totals odds for the impending college football season.

Caesars Sportsbook has the Ohio State win total set at 10.5 at +110, tied for the highest in the nation with Big Ten rivals Michigan. As expected, the two-time defending national champion Georgia Bulldogs have the only total higher at 11 at -150.

Buckeyes fans remember all too well the 42-41 defeat in the College Football Playoff semifinal last season to the Bulldogs.

OSU and Michigan are the favorites in the Big Ten, followed by Penn State's win projection of 9.5, then Wisconsin at 8.5, all according to Caesars. With a projected win total of 10.5, it appears the oddsmakers think both OSU and Michigan will lose just one game, and for one of those teams, it's probably coming against the other in their annual rivalry game.

For the Buckeyes, the 2023 season probably comes down to the starting quarterback position as well as the revamped offensive line.

The season kicks off Sept. 2 at Indiana with the television and kickoff time still to be determined.
