Roker picked the Buckeyes over offers from Iowa, Miami, Old Dominion and South Dakota. “Ohio State has a great program,” Roker told Bucknuts in an interview. “I really appreciated it when they offered me. I really appreciated it when coach Eliano came out and watched me practice.”

Roker joins a class headlined but multiple five-star talents, including receivers Jeremiah Smith and Mylan Graham, defensive linemen Justin Scott and Eddrick Houston, and quarterback Air Noland.

The Buckeyes also have pledges from multiple defensive backs as well alongside Roker, including cornerback Miles Lockhart, Aaron Scott Jr. and Bryce West, and safety Jaylen McClain.

Roker is a multi-sport athlete who also plays basketball and has competed in track and field. He committed to the Buckeyes back in October and is the No. 152 ranked safety in the country and the No. 174 ranked player from the state of Florida.

In his first game as a senior at Bishop Verot, Roker scored on a 70-yard receiving touchdown and totaled five tackles, two interceptions in a 56-21 win over Port Charlotte.
