Some it was their first NFL action, some had been here before. But, the NFL preseason is under way, and that means one thing. That former Buckeyes will be all over the place.

Dwayne Haskins Jr only started one year at Ohio State, so that rookie curve could be a little deeper for him. But, he showed some bright spots, along with some bad plays.

Up and down play is to be expected, but it’s only preseason game one for the rookie. Finishing 8/14 117 yards with two interceptions is how Haskins night finished.

Malik Hooker is one starter that the Colts can’t risk getting hurt. Playing just six snaps, Hooker did record a tackle in the preseason opener.

Second year linebacker Jerome Baker got at it, even serving as game captain. Recording four tackles to lead his team, was the expected starter.

Many more Buckeyes will be back at it today, but here’s just a couple that got after it Thursday night!

In other news, take a look at this! Garrett Wilson is making an impact as a freshman, and very well could be in the NFL in a couple years. A flashback to Wilson’s impressive tape.
