Marvin Harrison Jr. Announces NIL Deal with Monarc

Monarc manufactures the "Seeker," a JUG Machine used by Harrison during his time at Ohio State.

Ohio State Buckeyes junior wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. announced he had made a name, image and likeness (NIL) deal with Monarc on Wednesday.

Harrison posted a video about the partnership on his social media accounts. At the time of publishing, the video has had 28,700 views in 17 hours since it was posted on Twitter.

The video is accompanied by the caption, "Super excited to officially be a part of the Monarc family let's get to work @MonarcSport."

Monarc is a "sports robotics company changing the way athletes train in football," according to their website. Founded by Igor Karlicic and Bhargav Maganti,

One of Monarc's claims to fame is the "Seeker," a robotic quarterback machine that Harrison says in the video was crucial to his performance this season.

"The Seeker was a big part of my success last season," Harrison said. "It allows me to put in work by myself (and) keeps me on the top of my game."

Harrison can be seen in the video completing a variety of solo drills using the Seeker, both at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center (where the football team typically practices and lifts) and at the Lincoln Tower Fields on West Campus.

Mark Pantoni, Ohio State's director of player personnel, commented on Twitter that the partnership between Monarc and Harrison is a "match made in heaven."

Harrison was on the receiving end of 77 passes for 1,236 yards and 14 touchdowns this season for the Buckeyes, all of which were the most on the team.
