From one powerhouse high school to another, is the move Elias Ricks made few weeks ago. After the move being rumored for awhile, the elite corner transferred from Mater Dei to IMG Academy.

Ricks is currently an LSU commit, and has been awhile. Opposing coaches didn’t seem to worried, since he committed so early.

Christmas of last year, Elias made his verbal commitment to LSU, which has produced defensive backs to the league at a solid rate.

As the number one corner in the nation, you’re going to have just about every school on you. And, that’s exactly the case for the five star prospect.

Elias Ricks will probably be in the NFL in a few years, after a nice college career if everything goes right. But, we have to get to that point first. Teams like USC and Ohio State are still hot on the tail of the blue chip prospect.

Ohio State will get an official visit in November from the LSU commit, which will give them every chance to change his mind.

Not to say that they will get the flip, but it definitely isn’t out of the question. But, is anything really out of the question when it comes to college football?

Ohio State isn’t far from wrapping up their 2020 class, and focusing on keeping the current commits. But, they would gladly accept the talent in Ricks seven days out of the week, and probably twice on Saturday*.
