Jalen Bridges certainly remains an option for Ohio State in the 2020 class.

The Buckeyes would like to recruit a big man, but it seems to be slim pickings when it comes to the center position. So, that’s when Ohio State will turn to recruiting the best available.

There are a number of players the Buckeyes are in on, with presumably one roster spot opening up next season.

At the end of July, Bridges released a top 10 that included the Buckeyes with schools like Miami, West Virginia, Alabama, Pitt and USC.

The 6-7 wing is favored to go to home state West Virginia, with 75% in the crystal ball predictions. But, we know those aren’t always right.

Bridges is a player that uses his length, takes advantage of the mismatch and can knock down the outside shot. Playing AAU with the talented Wildcats Select team on the Adidas Gauntlet, Bridges was able to play with and against some solid talent.

Some will say that Ohio State doesn’t have a viable shot here, but that isn’t the case at all. The senior will take a hand full of official visits, with his last being to Ohio State on October 4th. A decision could be soon after the official visits wrap up, as expected.
