STILLWATER -- Oklahoma State has done well over the past week in trying to fill a need along the defensive line. Since Monday, they've received two defensive line commits: Northwest Mississippi C.C. defensive end Tyren Irby and Longview (TX) High School defensive tackles Sawyer Goram-Welch. But can the Pokes land another DT in the 2020 class?

An interesting article on GoPokes.com says that there's definitely a chance at landing another.

Jordan Berry, a 6-3, 305-pound defensive tackle out of Narbonne High School in Harbor City, CA, a neighborhood of Los, Angeles, CA, was committed to LSU on Feb. 16, 2019 and recently decommitted on Oct. 10.

Oklahoma State offered Berry back on Feb. 5 and since his decommitment from LSU, has gone back and retweeted a tweet pertaining to his Oklahoma State offer.

Berry has also holds offers from Arizona, Boston College, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Oregon, Oregon State and USC. There's always the chance the he winds back up at LSU, but just scrolling through Berry's Twitter, it's very evident that USC is pushing to land the Los Angeles native.

However, it appears that Oklahoma State's four-star quarterback might be of some assistance. It's a widely known fact that Shane Illingworth has developed a deep love of Oklahoma State and has tried to convince other recruits to commit.

Well, the four-star quarterback and Jordan Berry actually know each other an appear to be pretty good friends.

Is there a chance the Berry would want to hook up and play with Illingworth in Stillwater? I'd venture to say yes, I believe there could be a chance.

On the season, Berry has helped Narbonne to a 7-0 start overall, 1-0 in league play and has recorded 17 total tackles, eight of which have been solo stops, and one sack.

Berry is ranked as a three-star prospect and the No. 625 overall prospect in the 2020 class, the No. 57 defensive tackle and the No. 55 overall prospect out of California according to the industry generated 247Sports Composite.
