The offseason is officially upon us, and there is no better way to begin looking ahead to next season than checking out some of Oklahoma State's top recruits in the 2024 cycle.

Oklahoma State signee Maealiuaki Smith is the top-rated player in OSU's 2024 class, and it is easy to see why. The 6-4, 195-pound quarterback from San Mateo, CA ranks as the 530th overall player in the 2024 class by the 247 Composite ranking (#35 QB). He held offers from the likes of Arizona, Florida State, Washington, Missouri, and more.

He's got excellent footwork, and he has shown the ability to make accurate throws while on the run. He throws a beautiful deep ball as well, able to put plenty of touch on the ball and deliver it accurately downfield.

Smith possesses some solid athleticism and has shown that he can improvise a bit off-script. He is dangerous when given time to throw, and he has all the tools to be a very good quarterback at the next level for Oklahoma State.

I really like what I see from Maealiuaki Smith, and I firmly believe that the quarterback room will be in great shape with him and 2023 signee Zane Flores. I've said all that I have needed to say, so I will let the tape speak for itself. You can watch that by clicking here
