On Monday morning, TCU WR commit LaDainian Fields received an offer from Oklahoma State. Fields hails from Del City, Oklahoma and currently holds offers from the likes of Washington, Kansas State, and Washington State. Standing in at 6-1, 175-pounds, Fields is listed as a three-star recruit and the 16th-ranked player in the state of Oklahoma.

LaDainian Fields is a cousin of Oklahoma State running back commit Rodney Fields. Obviously, this is a good thing for the Pokes, as Rodney brings some more familiarity to the table. When you add to that the fact that Stillwater is only about an hour away from his hometown, you start to like your chances of being able to flip him, even if Fort Worth is still relatively close.

He helped lead the Eagles of Del City to a 12-1 record, falling only to 5A powerhouse Carl Albert in the state final. Fields accounted for 40 total tackles over the course of his senior season, as well as two interceptions and a fumble recovery. His electric Junior season put him on the map as a defender, one in which he racked up six interceptions in just eight games.

On offense, he was able to put up some gaudy numbers this season, hauling in 59 catches for 1248 yards and 19 touchdowns in the regular season. He'd be a fantastic addition to the receiver room, but it seems like Oklahoma State wants him as a corner. Regardless of what position he decides to play, the Cowboys will have a talented, homegrown athlete in their back pocket is they are able to flip him from TCU.
