On Friday, Oct. 27, four-star offensive line prospect Jonas Nantze committed to the Cowboys of Oklahoma State.

Nantze stands at 6-5, 268-pounds and hails from Shiloh Christian High School in Springdale, Arkansas. This comes just two weeks after the Pokes received pledges from Semisi Tonga and Nuku Mafi, a talented offensive line pair from West High School in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Nantze is infatuated with Oklahoma State. I was able to ask Nahum why he decided to choose Oklahoma State and Stillwater.

"It’s just always felt like home to be honest, so I knew if I ever got the opportunity to play for OSU I would not pass it up. I love Stillwater and not to mention the amazing coaching staff. Go pokes,” Nantze said.

The Arkansas native is the 16th commit in Oklahoma State's 2024 recruiting class. He is the fifth offensive lineman to commit in this class, and is likely going to be the last one that the Cowboys will take, as it's somewhat rare for teams to take more than five in one class.

Whatever the Cowboys end up doing at the quarterback and running back positions moving forward, they’re ensure they’ll have the proper blockers to be the engine of the offense.

In the 2024 recruiting cycle, the Cowboys are nearing a top 50 class, as they stood at No. 56 before the commitment from Nantze.
