2022 1st Team MaxPreps All American And Bixby Star Braylin Presley Has Serious Interest In Cowboys

My above and beyond favorite prospect in the signing class of 2020 for Oklahoma State was Bixby standout Brennan Presley.
Presley, who played as a slot receiver, running back, cornerback, and lethal return man was the top playmaker in the state during his senior season, earning him the Gatorade Oklahoma Player of the Year award as well as the Maxpreps Oklahoma Athlete of the Year.
Whenever a high school loses a player like Brennan, there is a worry about having the same success moving forward. Bixby, however, will not be having this problem due to a player who is becoming my favorite prospect in Oklahoma for the 2022 class.
Braylin Presley.
Braylin is the little brother of Brennan and is quickly being noticed as the new top playmaker in the state of Oklahoma.
Braylin was recently just named a Maxpreps All American in the junior class. Although his primary position is at running back, he is under the “all purpose” position as an All American due to his versatility on offense and his talent in the return game.
Last season on his way to winning his second straight Oklahoma 6A-II state championship, Braylin rushed for 1,500 yards with 29 touchdowns. He added 230 yards in the receiving game as well.
Both in person and on film, Braylin looks as if he’s playing backyard football. He scrambles and improvises until he finds a hole or opening and then he hits it and rarely misses. Normally coaches would get on to a player for running backwards or moving east and west but when that player turns those busted plays into touchdowns, they get free reign to move how they like. Braylin is one of these players.
If you asked a defender to give a word to describe Braylin, some popular ones you would get are “pest” and “annoying”. Just when a tackler thinks he has an angle on Braylin and thinks he has him in his sights, he sticks his foot in the ground and is suddenly on the opposite side of the field running into the endzone.
Defenders are left just staring and wondering what they did wrong, a common skill among the Presley family.
Even though Braylin has posted some crazy numbers, won two state titles, and has been named a Maxpreps All American two years in a row, his recruitment has not yet taken off.
He currently holds offers from Memphis and William and Mary. Because he is in the class of 2022, college coaches cannot make direct contact until September 1st, so when that date comes, expect some noise to be made surrounding Braylin.
I recently spoke with Braylin about his recruitment and the obvious connection to OSU. “I love OSU”, Presley started. “I grew up a Pokes fan, my whole family went there, I love the coaches, I love the atmosphere, it's just a great place to be around.”
Because of his brother now being there and his family history with Oklahoma State, I asked Braylin, if he were to receive an offer from the Cowboy staff, would he commit or let his recruitment play out.
“If I do get an offer from OSU, me committing would just depend on how recruitment has gone for me so far”, said Braylin. “But I would definitely consider attending OSU!”
It is my opinion that Braylin will be Stillwater bound by the time of his signing in 2022 but there is still work to be done before then. All signs point towards Braylin being a hot commodity very soon, being named a 1st Team All American by MaxPreps is no joke and he is certainly worthy of it.
Something interesting to note is that Presley is the only player on the list to not hold a power five offer. Every single player on the list holds double digit offers and nearly all are from powers five conferences.
His slow developing recruitment is likely for the same reason as his brother, his size. Some people will criticize his height and say he is too short to have success at the next level but I am not one of these people. I am completely bought into the Braylin Presley stock.
