On Sunday, October 15th, Oklahoma State received pledges from Semisi Tonga and Nuku Mafi, a pair of offensive linemen hailing from West High School in Salt Lake City, Utah, the same high school as freshman runningback Sesi Vailahi.  They are both rated as three-star prospects by the 247 Composite. Tonga sits as the 1191st overall prospect, while Mafi is rated a bit higher at 1115.

Although they aren't as highly rated as some of the others in Oklahoma State's 2024 class, they were still recruited somewhat heavily. Both hold offers from several Power Five programs such as Tennessee, Oregon, Utah, etc. On top of that, Nuku Mafi is a Polynesian Bowl All-American.

The dynamic duo committed shortly after they both took official visits to Stillwater that took place on October 13th. While on the visit, Oklahoma State played Kansas, where they were able to generate 554 yards of offense, including 218 yards on the ground. The performance on Saturday showed the pair just what they could become and the kind of development they could receive.

Offensive line coach Charlie Dickey led the charge in this recruitment, visiting the pair and attending their game against Highland High School during Oklahoma State's bye week. The Panthers of West High School would go on to defeat Highland 36-15, rushing for 204 yards on 29 touches (7.03 yards per carry) in the process.

With the addition of Mafi and Tonga, the Pokes 2024 recruiting class is up to 15 members and ranked No. 55 in the nation (10th in the Big 12) with a score of 178.09. Although it took a while to get going, it seems like the Cowboys finally have some momentum on the recruiting trail with their first commits since July.
