OSU Softball Set to Have Four Games on National Television

With the Cowgirls set to play on national television four times this season, Kenny Gajewski and his squad will get to show the country what they are made of.

Oklahoma State softball will get to show its talents to the whole country multiple times this season.

Big 12 Conference television selections came out on Wednesday, and OSU will appear on national television four times this season.

The first televised game will come on March 29, when the Cowgirls welcome in Texas at Cowgirl Stadium. That contest can be seen on ESPN2.

Bedlam will be televised all three days as OSU will travel to Norman to take on Oklahoma May 3-5.

One wrinkle to the series will come on May 3, when the opening game will be shown on FS1. The next two games of the series will be shown on ESPNU.

With OU moving to the Southeastern Conference next season, this is the last Bedlam Series for the foreseeable future.

The Big 12 Championship will also appear on national television, with game three of the tournament set for May 9 on ESPNU and the championship final scheduled for May 11 on ESPN2.

None of the four new Big 12 teams appear on national television this season, but the rest of the conference slate this season can be seen on ESPN+.

All four Big 12 teams that will be shown on national television begin the season ranked in USA Today/NFCA DI Top 25 Coaches Poll with OU securing the top spot, Texas and OSU in the top 10 and Baylor slotted at No. 22.

As for the Cowgirls, they begin the season at No. 9, which is the third straight season Oklahoma State has started a season in the top 10 of the preseason poll.

Kenny Gajewski and his crew are looking to improve off their 47-16 record last season, which included a trip to the Women's College World Series for a fourth straight season.

Before they set their eyes on the WCWS, the Cowgirls get their season going on Feb. 8, when they take on Cal State-Northridge at Northridge, CA.
