Pitt WR Jordan Addison Expected to Transfer to USC

The Pitt program believes illegal tampering has been involved in the decision.

PITTSBURGH -- Pitt Panthers star wide receiver Jordan Addison is expected to enter the transfer portal, according to multiple reports.

Addison, the 2021 Biletnikoff Award winner, caught 100 passes for 1,593 yards and 17 touchdowns this past season. He's highly regarded as the best receiver in the NCAA, and could be the top player chosen at the position in next year's NFL Draft.

Addison has yet to appear in the transfer portal but is reportedly receiving interest from USC. The star wide receiver is expected to receive a "massive" NIL deal if he lands in Southern California.

According to Pittsburgh Sports Now, the Pitt program believes USC head coach Lincoln Riley has participated in illegally tampering with Addison, and head coach Pat Narduzzi is expected to make a public statement about the matter.

PSN reports Addison has been offered a $2 million NIL deal to head to USC.
