Pitt Makes Four-Star QB's Top Four

The Pitt Panthers are in the mix for an elite prospect in the class of 2025.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers are among the finalists for a premier in-state quarterback prospect from the class of 2025.

Matt Zollers, a native of Royersford, Pennsylvania who attends Spring-Ford High School, released a top-four this week that features the Panthers in addition to Georgia, Missouri and Penn State.

Zollers is among the top talents both nationally and in the state of Pennsylvania for the class of 2025. He has been rated as a four-star recruit by all four major recruiting services while also being ranked as high as the No. 3 QB, No. 3 player in the state and No. 149 in the country (247Sports).

Zollers' brother Zach walked onto Pitt's roster as a defensive lineman ahead of the 2023 season, so a meaningful connection to the program already exists as he continues to mull his options.

He also holds offers from Georgia, Florida, Virginia, Nebraska, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Michigan State, Kentucky, Boston College and Indiana among others.
