Aaron Rodgers is Shaking Up Kenny Pickett's Draft Stock

The Pitt Panthers quarterback is adding another 'wait and see' moment to his draft cycle.

Pitt Panthers quarterback Kenny Pickett is expected to be an early first-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. That being said, the team consider most-likely to select him is now in contention of landing a future Hall of Famer.

The Denver Broncos have been a potential landing spot for Pickett throughout the entire draft process. At one point last month, sources told Inside the Panthers that Denver was "all in" on the Pitt quarterback.

Now, it seems that has changed.

Denver is one of three teams Rodgers has reportedly cleared for next season. The other two include the Tennessee Titans and other potential draft landing spot the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Without the Broncos, things get shaky for Pickett. He's still a first-round pick, but with the Carolina Panthers being the only team in the top 10 that seem willing to draft a passer that early, it's now a fight between Pickett and Liberty's Malik Willis for a top 10 selection.

Rodgers is expected to have a decision made on his future by the end of Tuesday, March 8. Whether or not the Packers franchise tag Devante Adams will play a significant role, which leaves the door wide open for a departure.

For Pickett, this process is all 'wait and see.' But adding a future Hall of Famer to the list of uncontrollables is never settling.
