Two 2024 Pitt Recruits Elevated to Four Stars

The Pitt recruiting class got a lot hotter with the rankings of two athletes.

The Pittsburgh Panthers have an opportunity to sign two four-star recruits in the 2024 class after their recent elevation from Rivals.

Aliquippa linebacker Cameron Lindsey didn't have any college offers prior to the school's PIAA Class-4A championship win in December. Now, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound running back/linebacker has picked up offers from Cincinnati, Connecticut, Penn State, West Virginia, Toledo and Pitt.

Rivals has now elevated Lindsey to a four-star recruit and the 129th-ranked recruit in the class of 2024. The junior recorded 86 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, two sacks, two forced fumbles and recoveries and two interceptions with both returned for touchdowns this past season.

The other four-star elevation is Jeannette's Quinton Martin, who surpassed Tyrell Pryor as the school's highest-ranked recruit in the program's history.

Martin ranks 12th in the class of 2024 with a 6.0 Rivals Rating, meaning he's nearly a five star athlete.

Martin's first D1 offer was from Pitt, but he has since received scholarships from Penn State, Boston College, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Notre Dame, Rutgers, Syracuse, Texas, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
