Legendary Purdue coach Gene Keady followed the Boilermakers throughout this year's NCAA Tournament, watching his former team reach the national championship for the first time since 1969. And on Monday night, Keady decided to go all in while cheering on Purdue.

Prior to the game on Monday night, Keady got a Purdue "P" logo put into his hair before the big game. Pictures surfaced on social media, bringing plenty of smiles to the faces of Boilermaker fans.

Keady is regularly in attendance at Purdue's postseason games and often attends games throughout the regular season. This year, he got to enjoy one of the most magical runs in program history.

Purdue reached the Final Four for the first time since 1980 and competed for a national championship. The Boilermakers were back-to-back Big Ten regular season champions and Zach Edey is now a two-time Naismith National Player of the Year. That's quite a run.

Unfortunately, Purdue's season ended on a disappointing note, falling 75-60 to UConn in the national championship on Monday. Still, it was an incredible season for the Boilermakers, one that fans will not soon forget.

It was really cool to see Keady get to enjoy all of these special moments during the season and witness a program he built return to the Final Four and compete on the national stage.

The Boilermakers concluded their season with a 34-5 record.
