I’ve honed my skills in writing, reporting, and broadcasting/production in both TV and radio. Throughout my time at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, I served as a staff writer for Mustang News Sports, where I produced a diverse range of content both for print and online readership, including feature stories, news, op-ed pieces, and game recaps. Additionally, my experience with Mustang News TV and Mustang News Radio allowed me to develop comprehensive story packages and contribute to technical aspects such as computer graphics and video playbacks, as well as both help produce and contribute on-air to live sports radio content. The journalism skills I’ve acquired are complemented by a proactive approach to learning and collaboration. I thrive in dynamic environments and ultimately, hope to use these skills—along with my passion for sports—to create impactful stories that resonate with audiences across a variety of mediums.
