South Carolina Pitcher Receives Weekly SEC Honor

South Carolina Pitcher Noah Hall has been awarded the SEC Co-Pitcher of the Week Award.

South Carolina's early baseball season has been a cause for celebration. The 9-0 Gamecocks have rolled through their opponents and have enjoyed many big wins. While the team has been firing on all cylinders, South Carolina has also had multiple players put up notable performers. One of those players is Pitcher Noah Hall, who was awarded the SEC Co-Pitcher of the Week Award.

Hall has started two games for the Gamecocks this season, posting a .68 ERA through 13.1 innings of service. Hall has allowed only five hits and one earned run through his first two outings while also striking out 16 batters.

Hall's top performance this season came against Penn. Though South Carolina posted just one run in the second game of the series, Hall's classic performance led the Gamecocks to victory.

Hall threw eight innings against Penn, allowing just three hits and striking out eight. Hall's excellent outing saved the Gamecocks' perfect season and has been the best moment in the young season. After two excellent outings, it is great to see Hall recognized as one of the top pitchers in the SEC.
